Anyone (member or non-member) can attend a local Chapter event. There’s also many sponsorship opportunities to promote your products or services directly to landscape professionals.

Thank you for your support! Each Chapter has different sponsorship opportunities for their meetings. Special events have their own sponsorship structure and will be posted on the event web page. Meeting sponsorship details are available by contacting the appropriate event specialist.

Great! Please contact the local Chapter coordinator. You will be given access to the chapter’s shared Google Drive. Please read over the Chapter Board Policies and Procedures. This will give you a better understanding of how the chapter’s function, elections, roles and responsibilities of the board, etc.

There are 4 ways to get involved:

  1. Attend: Come and see first-hand the many learning opportunities available through your local chapter.
  2. Volunteer: Chapters always welcome volunteers to sit on their committees or on the Chapter Board. The Boards help set the direction for each chapter. They select the meeting topics, community projects and are the representatives for their respective region.
  3. Speakers: Get in front of the attendees as the feature speaker for the meeting. Please send topic descriptions to the appropriate event specialist. These will be circulated to the chapters as reference when they are selecting their topics for the coming meeting series.
  4. Sponsor: Each chapter offers different sponsorship structures ranging in price. Some levels will offer the display of promotional material at the meeting, others offer time to directly address meeting attendees.

Chapters are required to meet a minimum of five (5) times per year. A meeting can be defined as any event that includes professional development, networking or Green for Life promotion at the local level. These include home and garden shows, golf tournaments or other special events, as well as educational meetings.

Chapter meetings run from September through April. Meetings take a break for the summer when member companies are at their busiest times for work.

Everyone is welcome to attend a meeting to see first-hand the many learning opportunities available through Landscape Ontario. Not a member or know a non-member? Come join us!
